French photographer Laurent Seroussi fused female form with insect bodies in enchantingly realistic series "Insectes". The results nothing short of an amazing - in surreal sort of way. Softness of feminine lines contrasts sharply with spiky edges of insect bodies, showing other, more dangerous side hiding behind seductive beauty.

Some artists are using oil and canvas, others like Simon Beck something else entirely. Armed with pair of snow shoes he uses virgin snow in the French Alps to create his Snow Art of patterns, geometrical shapes and figures.
What started as an exercise, developed in to art form to be fully appreciated from the higher ground. According to Simon, they are not that complicated to make when you get the system down. Some of the creations take hours to complete, others more elaborate - days, and sometimes as much time to disappear under fresh layer of snow. There is a fleeting nature in Simon's creations - reminiscent of Tibetan Mandalas.
Simon Beck has been sharing his Snow Art since 2004, and to get a dose of his latest creations follow him on Facebook.
Happy and warm 2014 for you all!
