We've seen several photo series from photographers using various office supplies (scotch tape, rubber band, paint) or household items (leaf bower, window glass) to distort ones face for that bizarre look we cannot help to click on. Nevertheless, one thing is for sure - the results are always entertaining.
Wes Naman (was featured here) previous "Scotch Tape" series created so much buzz that he decided to follow in the same direction by using rubber bands. This time faces were borrowed from local Albuquerque music bands (see play of words "rubber bands" - "music bands"). Musicians wearing their band t-shirts posed for this fun but sometimes painful photoshoot. More of "Rubber Band" photos can be found here.

OK, this test is completely unofficial, but has to be accurate nevertheless. If you find that special one who is game for a wedding cake in a form of severed heads (groom and bride heads in this case) - this person is a keeper. Message "Till Death Do Us Part" was loud and clear when wedding cake was brought in depicting decapitated Natalie and David Sideserf heads... so realistic, with postmortem gaze, bloody neck and all.
Natalie and David - both movie buffs, decided on cake theme after seeing a horror flick. Besides it's "soulmate test" - it is great antidote to cheesy and boring wedding cake designs we've seen ad-nauseam in countless similarly boring weddings. Cake artist Natalie of Sideserf Cake Studio is no stranger to creating realistic cake artistry. Some of her creations - like Willie Nelson's head cake were going viral on internet already. For more of amazing cake creation visit Sideserf Cake Studio.

Ever wondered how all these Facebook faces, over a billion of them would look all together in one place. Wonder no more. Pretty much it's like you watching your favorite show on TV and somebody cuts the antenna. All this pixelated static fuzz that comes-up on the screen is what you get when you put your 1.2 billion Facebook buddies faces in a zoomed-out mosaic.
So, you thought you're special, with all your carefully selected party photos and religiously updated statuses, locations and affiliations? Think again! You're just one tiny tiny pixel in the sea of other mini-dots in this mega-mosaic of virtual lives.
"The Faces of Facebook" is a project by programmer Natalie Rojas. All Facebook profile photos are organized in chronological order (starting from #1 some kid by name Mark), you can hover over the pixels, zoom-in to see more detailed photo and select them by clicking to their profile (if it is set public of course). At the time of this writing site was not accessible (message app [...]
Pick-up artists, teachers in the art of seduction and new age "casanovas" of all types met in New Orleans to share in the latest techniques of female seduction. Techniques and methods might differ, but all participants agreed on one thing: facial hair and unique looks are important. Las Vegas based photographer Greg Anderson was on hand to chronicle this famous event...
Ok, ok... how we wish that was the case if just for the sake of funnies... (for those of us who doesn't know what "tongue in cheek" is - read below):
What's better event for portrait photographer to attend than National Beard and Moustache Championships, full of characters ready to pose, and what's better city to have such a championship than New Orleans. Las Vegas based photographer Greg Anderson took opportunity of both and the result is a stunning collection of portraits as if they stepped from the movie set. Some of them beards might not play well with your current employment (especially if you're working as a [...]
In photo series "Couples" Spanish photographer Nacho Rojo photographed the same couple but in different makeup and clothing. What a difference some eyeshadow and hairspray can make.

German photographer Robert Rickhoff manipulates photography to create scenes and places so absurd it's not even f..., no - it is actually very funny. Who wouldn't want to jump on the trampoline on the cliff's edge, or go to the bathroom for "number two" and at the same time enjoy swinging sensation. Great example how "what if" scenarios can ignite our lazy imagination and give us a few laughs at the same time.

A few months ago we wrote about a couple of Stephen Shaheen's humorous yet strange sculptures that adorn lightbulb heads. We get such a kick out of his work, we've decided to feature a few more of the Brooklyn-based sculptor's collection. The one that stands out the most is aptly titled Let's Put Our Heads Together (above). It features three blue men bent over with their heads collectively in the middle. They appear to be trying to help each other with their plugs and perhaps pointing at something on the ground. [...]
