Italian web designer and programmer Andrea Boriani seemingly had some obsolete computer hardware on hand that he reused in to canvas for his paintings. Motherboards, hard drives, floppies become textured medium of sorts for his hand painted portraits. The results are simply beautiful. Judge for yourself.

No stranger to the controversy Danish filmmaker Lars Von Trier done it again. Long before his latest movie Nymphomaniac is scheduled to be released on December 25, 2013, publicity is gaining momentum by release of movie posters depicting main characters in orgasmic facial expressions so natural it makes you wish you were present in their photo-shoot.
Naturally remarks from actor Shia LaBeouf that he had real sex during the filming doesn't hurt.
Whether your favorite or not, Lars Von Trier definitely is one of the most innovative filmmakers having this gift at creating moods (some of them disturbing) that sucks you in but are never dull or indifferent. On our favorite movie list is Europa, Breaking the Waves, Antichrist and Melancholia. From the actors in these posters we think Uma shall be a frontrunner in depiction of big O.

Pick-up artists, teachers in the art of seduction and new age "casanovas" of all types met in New Orleans to share in the latest techniques of female seduction. Techniques and methods might differ, but all participants agreed on one thing: facial hair and unique looks are important. Las Vegas based photographer Greg Anderson was on hand to chronicle this famous event...
Ok, ok... how we wish that was the case if just for the sake of funnies... (for those of us who doesn't know what "tongue in cheek" is - read below):
What's better event for portrait photographer to attend than National Beard and Moustache Championships, full of characters ready to pose, and what's better city to have such a championship than New Orleans. Las Vegas based photographer Greg Anderson took opportunity of both and the result is a stunning collection of portraits as if they stepped from the movie set. Some of them beards might not play well with your current employment (especially if you're working as a [...]
In photo series "Couples" Spanish photographer Nacho Rojo photographed the same couple but in different makeup and clothing. What a difference some eyeshadow and hairspray can make.

Compare our world of today to the one as recent as 20 years ago. Thanks to internet, social media, "artificial" online friends, gratification of instant contact - world "shrunk", brought us closer - virtually. But are we really closer?
Barcelona based photographer Hector Arnau in his photo series called "In Boxes", explores theme of human compartmental segregation - often self imposed. "In Boxes" provides not so modest narrative on false virtual lives many of us live. We separate ourselves by artificial ("cardboard") barriers, not allowing, or maybe forgetting of real human contact and not able to show who we truly are inside. Characters in the pictures making an effort to get out of their confined spaces, unable to break imaginary barriers, separations that we've created to protect vulnerable selves. Aren't we similarly trying to escape claustrophobic state of starvation for human contact, and then in futile desperation reach out to online worlds just to be-friend this faceless avat [...]
We've all seen painted on body bikinis, ornaments, illustrations and all kinds of tattoo's but Japanese artist Choo San took art of body painting to completely different level. 3D photo-realistic body artwork is so real and "surreal" at the same time that somehow adds new dimension to the body and for a moment get's you thinking "that zipper must feel painful"... What started as doodling eyeballs on back of her hand developed in to inspiring body art that catches our imagination.

German photographer Robert Rickhoff manipulates photography to create scenes and places so absurd it's not even f..., no - it is actually very funny. Who wouldn't want to jump on the trampoline on the cliff's edge, or go to the bathroom for "number two" and at the same time enjoy swinging sensation. Great example how "what if" scenarios can ignite our lazy imagination and give us a few laughs at the same time.
