Seems like sculptural figures from the other side of the wall surface in to our reality one body part at the time.
As symbols in agony of struggling emergence, sculptures posses certain poetic grace in their poses enhanced by lighting and shadows.

Self thought digital artist from Japan - Kazuhiko Nakamura has been creating intricate cyber/steampunk artwork since 1996.
His artwork looks as if created by mad genius obsessed with mechanizing anatomy of the living beings. Attention to the detail is mindboggling, and you can spend hours analyzing details of anatomically correct mechanical gadgetry in each of his works.
More of his art can be found at Mechanical Mirage.

Some artists are using oil and canvas, others like Simon Beck something else entirely. Armed with pair of snow shoes he uses virgin snow in the French Alps to create his Snow Art of patterns, geometrical shapes and figures.
What started as an exercise, developed in to art form to be fully appreciated from the higher ground. According to Simon, they are not that complicated to make when you get the system down. Some of the creations take hours to complete, others more elaborate - days, and sometimes as much time to disappear under fresh layer of snow. There is a fleeting nature in Simon's creations - reminiscent of Tibetan Mandalas.
Simon Beck has been sharing his Snow Art since 2004, and to get a dose of his latest creations follow him on Facebook.
Happy and warm 2014 for you all!

In his stylized presentation New York based photographer Bill Durgin explores anatomic deconstruction of human form in to anonymous sculptural shapes.
We selected sampling of Bill's work spaning through several critically acclaimed series.
Using recognizable visual narrative photographer appropriates and deforms human shapes into collection of objectified forms.
Artist chalenges us in to acceptance of grotescue poses softened only by the beauty of suggestive compositions and delicate shadows and hues.

Ever wondered what happens to our beloved superheroes when they grow older? Thanks to photo-realistic oil paintings by Sweden based artist Andreas Englund we can have a rare glimpse at the daily life of superhero in his senior years. Series of paintings called "Aging Superhero" focuses on character study through mundane situations superhero finds himself in. We all can relate to joy of playing with the child, frustration of spilling groceries in the parking lot or exhaustion after beating up dozen or two of bad guys and stacking them neatly in the pile. Not to mention those morning hangovers that's getting worse and worse with age. Age can take a hit on your stamina, but really is the spirit inside that counts. Someone once said "your age - is only as important as the size of your shoes - some have 43 some otherwise. What really matters is the number you feel inside"...
